Assistant Home Supervisor- Cook Claus Program (Full-Time)
The Assistant Supervisor works under the supervision of the Home Supervisor and is responsible for managing the training needs in the residential program. In collaboration with the Associate Director of the Wedgwood Institute, the Assistant Supervisor will assure all Youth Treatment Specialists receive proper and complete training.
Additionally, the Assistant Supervisor is responsible for providing daily care, counsel and supervision to the girls ages 12-17 living within the Cook Claus residential program.

Hours: 4 weekdays and every other weekend, a combination of 1st and 2nd shift
Qualifications:
- Applicant must be at least 20 years of age
- High school diploma required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- At least one year of residential treatment experience required.
- Knowledge and experience in working with adult learners preferred, and at least one year teaching/training experience required.
- Computer skills working with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint preferred.
- Additional education and/or certification in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience supervising at risk youth is preferred
- Ability to pivot, bend, twist and stoop while bearing weight of individuals served.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. non-stationary weight through the approved technique is required.
- Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objective of the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee training progression of Youth Treatment Specialists in the residential program.
- Oversees goal worker training within the program.
- Assists with scheduling in the Cook Claus home.
- Providing daily care, counsel, and supervision to youth in the residential program.
- Assisting in overseeing the treatments programs of individual residents and managing operations of the residential unit.
- Participation in recreational activities when they are scheduled.
- Meal preparation in the residential home.
