Employment Coordinator (Full-Time)

The Employment Coordinator supports at-risk youth (teens) by assisting them in securing job opportunities and essential documents such as identification cards, birth certificates, and work permits, including providing transportation when needed. Key responsibilities include teaching curriculum, conducting interviews, running orientations, scheduling appointments for new referrals, as well as connecting clients with resources such as housing, government assistance, and comprehensive life skills to foster their independence.

Hours: Ability to work variable hours, Monday-Sunday (9a-7pm), as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Education, Social Work, Psycholgy, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or other related field) from an accredited undergraduate college or associate degree with 3 years of direct care (youth) experience.
• Preferred experience leading/teaching youth in a learning environment.
• Prior experience providing leadership and working with interdisciplinary teams preferred.
• Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and a proven ability to set and achieve measurable goals independently.
• Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions.
• Active motor vehicle license and maintain a reliable vehicle with adequate insurance coverage.
• Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries.
